清末民初机制银币向来在集币圈里有很深的珍藏秘闻。2013年四月初，在香港斯宾克珍罕钱币交易会上，一枚民国十五年陆水师大元帅纪念币样币，即张作霖纪念银币以138万元交易出；5月22日，在北京春季交易会上，一枚奉天省造光绪元宝样币以184万元成交；11月21日，在北京秋季交易会上，一枚黑龙江省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分样币以201.25万元成交；12月12日，在上海古玩恒丰交易中央交易会上，一枚造光绪33年库平一两三点银币以138万元成交。 　　

　　民国15年，陆元帅海军元帅纪念币，即张吉瑞银币以138万元成交；5月22日，北京春季交易。在会上，奉天省制作了光绪元宝样币184万元；1121年，一位黑龙江省造光绪元在北京的秋季交易会上。宝库分为七块钱和两块钱。成交502.5万元；12月12日在上海古董恒丰交易所中央交易会上，一座光绪三十三年的建筑库平以138万元的价格卖出了一两银币。 　　

　　民国建设后，铜元仍继续大量流通使用。1914年，铜元正式改称"铜币",民国刊行的铜币与清的区别是龙纹被换成了由稻穗组成的嘉禾纹。各省铸造的铜元大多为两面叉的国旗图案，并有"开国纪念币"或"中华民国铜币"字样。 　　

　　民国建设后，铜币继续大量使用。1914年，铜元正式更名为"铜币",民国时期发行的铜币与清朝铜币的区别是龙的图案被稻穗组成的嘉禾图案所取代。各省铸造的铜币大多为两面国旗图案，并有"建国纪念币"或"中华民国铜币"字样。
