　　可转让信用证是指根据信用证，受益人(第一受益人)可以要求被授权的银行(转让行)进行付款、延期付款、承兑或议付，或者如果信用证是自由议付的，在信用证中特别授权的转让行将跟单信用证全部或部分转让给一个或多个其他受益人(第二受益人)。 　　

　　

　　简而言之，根据UCP600第38条，可转让信用证是指明确表明“可转让”的信用证。 　　

　　

　　应受益人(“第一受益人”)的要求，转让信用证具有以下特征： 　　

　　

　　根据信用证的规定，信用证的可转让性；信用证的转让来自于受益人的请求；转让只能在授权的情况下进行； 　　

　　

　　信用证可以部分或全部转让；信用证的转让以一次为限。在迁移过程中，会出现以下句子或单词的一些表达方式： 　　

　　

　　如：本信用证可转让。(本信用证可转让) 　　

　　

　　或者使用Transfer来显示其功能。

　　本信用证只能根据原信用证规定的条款和条件转让。

　　转让地点可分为国内转让和国外转让。这一规定表现为国内转让，即第一受益人将信用证的使用权转让给第二受益人，第二受益人的地点在同一国家，称为国内转让。 　　

　　

　　在国内转让的情况下：该信用证可由通知行在受益国转让。 　　

　　

　　此信用证由受益人国家的通知行转让。 　　

　　

　　例如，国外转让：该信用证可在大韩民国转让给第二受益人。 　　

　　

　　该信用证转让给韩国的第二受益人。 　　

　　

　　该条款规定转让地点为国外转让。即第一受益人将信用证的使用权转让给在另一个国家的第二受益人，称为对外转让。
