lf to a gourmet meal of my favorite food at an expensive restaurant, because I deserve it.

它们通常更昂贵,而且很精美。所以也许你可以告诉考官,当我工作真的很辛苦时,我喜欢去一家昂贵的餐厅用我最喜欢的美味佳肴犒劳自己,因为我值得。

Okay. Next on our list we have home-cooked meals.

好的。我们清单上的下一个是家常菜。

This phrase is pretty straightforward. They are meals that are cooked at home.

这个短语很直接。它们指的是在家煮的饭。

Right, so when you do all the cooking yourself. Usually, people have home-cooked meals with their families.

是的,所以是你自己做所有的饭菜。人们通常会跟家人一起吃家常菜。

During the holidays is when I think of having a home-cooked meal. So maybe your favorite meal of the whole year is when you have a nice home-cooked meal for Thanksgiving with your family.

过节是我想到的吃家常菜的时刻。所以也许你全年最喜欢的饭是与你的家人一起过感恩节时吃的家常菜。

Or you could say, I try to have a home-cooked meal with my family at least once a week. So it can take the time to talk to each other while we're eating.

或者你可以说,我努力每周至少和我的家人一起吃一次家常菜。这样在我们吃饭的时候可以慢慢花时间互相交谈。

Then next we have cuisine, cuisine from different places. We can talk about Italian cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Indian cuisine.

然后我们有美食,来自不同地方的美食。我们可以谈论意大利美食,中国美食,印度美食。

There are as many examples as there are countries. This is simply food from a certain place, so food that is from India, food from China, food from Italy.

有多少国家就有多少美食的例子。这只是来自某个地方的食物,即来自印度的食物,来自中国的食物,来自意大利的食物。

You get the idea. You could tell your examiner, I really enjoy Chinese cuisine and try to get it as much as possible, but sometimes all the restaurants are closed and all I can get is Italian cuisine, which is fine, too.

你懂的。你可以告诉考官,我真的很喜欢中国菜,并且有机会就尽可能多吃,但有时所有餐馆关门了,我只能去吃意大利菜,也很好吃。

Then last on our list we have poultry. Poultry is simply birds birds that we eat.

然后在我们清单的最后,我们有家禽。家禽就是我们吃的鸟类。

You could tell your examiner, I really enjoy eating poultry. I like to eat chicken and turkey and duck.

你可以告诉考官,我真的很喜欢吃家禽。我喜欢吃鸡肉和火鸡,还有鸭子。

Any animal that is a bird, that you like to eat, we call poultry. Next, it's time to focus on vocabulary talking about eating habits.

任何你喜欢吃的鸟类,我们都叫做家禽。接下来我们要专注于谈论饮食习惯的词汇。

Your examiner might ask you, what are your eating habits like, or do you have healthy eating habits. These phrases and words will help you talk about the way that you eat.

考官可能会问你你的饮食习惯是什么样的,或者你是否有健康的饮食习惯。这些短语和单词会帮助你谈论你吃饭的方式。

So let's get started. First, we have grabbed a quick bite to eat, or have a quick snack.

我们开始吧。首先我们有快速吃东西或快速吃零食。

This means that you're eating just a little bit in a very quick amount of time. So you eat a small amount very quickly, very fast.

这意味着你在很短的时间内吃一点点。所以你非常快速地吃少量东西。

You might say to your examiner, I am a very busy person and eating isn't very important to me. So in the middle of my workday, I will grab a bite to eat before going back to work.

你可能跟考官说,我非常忙碌,吃对我来说不是很重要。所以在工作中我会在回去工作之前快速吃点东西。

Or if I have a second, I will have a quick snack but then go right back to work. So again, these two phrases you can use to talk about eating just a little bit very fast.

或者如果我有一点时间,我会快速吃点零食,然后马上回去工作。所以你可以使用这两个短语谈论快速地吃一点点东西。

Sound good. You might also tell your examiner, I love to eat like a horse.

听起来不错。你可能还会告诉考官,我喜欢像马一样吃东西。

Now a horse is a big animal, right? Therefore, to eat like a horse is to eat a lot you love to eat food in a big amount.

马很大,对吗?因此,像马一样吃就是指你喜欢吃很多食物。

So maybe you could say, I try to eat a little bit at a time. But sometimes I can't help but to eat like a horse and then take a long nap.

所以也许你可以说我尝试一次吃一点。但是有时候我忍不住要暴食,然后小睡一会儿。

Sound good. Okay, number three on our list, we have work up an appetite.

听起来不错。好的,我们清单上的第三个是忙得饿了。

This means that you work until you are very hungry. So if you like to work a lot and you may not have time to grab a bite to eat, you could maybe tell your examiner I work so hard and forget to eat.

这意味着你一直工作直到你非常饿。所以如果你想做很多事情,你可能没有时间吃点东西,也许你可以告诉考官我工作很努力,忙饿了。

And then at the end of the day, I've realized I really work up an appetite. I forgot to eat.

然后在一天结束时,我才意识到我真的忙饿了。我忘了吃饭。

So now I am very hungry. So if you forget to eat or are working so hard, you become hungry, you can tell your examiner I work up an appetite most of the time.

所以现在我很饿。所以如果你忘记吃饭或工作很努力,你变得很饿,你可以告诉考官大部分时候我会忙得忘了吃饭。

Next, we have eat a balanced diet. So balanced is not too much of any one thing.

下一个是饮食均衡。均衡指的是没有吃太多任何一种食物。

And diet talks about what you eat. This usually means that you eat healthy.

而饮食谈论的是你吃的东西。这通常意味着你吃得很健康。

You could tell your examiner, I try not to eat too much junk food, bad food, or fast food too frequently. I try to eat a balanced diet.

你可以告诉考官我尽量不要频繁吃太多垃圾食品,不好的食物或快餐。我努力均衡饮食。

So I am healthy and strong. Sounds good.

所以我很健康而且很强壮。听起来不错。

We also have the phrase wine and dine. So wine talking about wine that you drink, and dine talking about sitting down to eat.

我们还有一边喝酒一边吃饭这个短语。所以酒指的是喝的葡萄酒,而用餐指的是坐下来吃饭。

Wine and dine usually means you are going on a date with someone. So you could say, I usually just grab a bite to eat during the week, because I'm busy.

一边喝酒一边吃饭通常意味着你在和某人约会。所以你可以说,我通常在工作日只吃一点东西,因为我很忙。

But on Friday night, I like to wine and dine with my girlfriend or boyfriend, because it's nice to sit down and enjoy our time together. Next up here, we have scarf something down.

但是在星期五晚上,我喜欢和我的女友或男友一边喝酒一边吃饭,因为坐下来一起享受我们的时间很好。下一个,我们有词组狼吞虎咽。

This phrase is specifically American and it talks about eating quickly. It doesn't need to be just a little bit.

这个短语很美式,它表示的是快速吃东西。它不一定是一点点食物。

You can have a big meal that you scarf down, eat it as fast as you can. So maybe you could say, I was at work all day and I really worked up an appetite.

你可以狼吞虎咽下一顿大餐,尽可能快地吃下去。所以也许你可以说,我整天都在工作,我真的很饿。

I came home, got a huge pizza and I scarf the pizza down. Scarf something down.

我回家后拿了一个巨大的披萨,然后狼吞虎咽下去。狼吞虎咽。

You eat it so fast. Sound good.

你快速地吃。听起来不错。

The next one on our list is very similar to this, tuck into a meal. It is the same thing as scarfing something down, except it is British.

我们清单上的下一个跟这个很像,风卷残云。它跟狼吞虎咽是一个意思,只不过是英式说法。

That's the only difference. So a British English speaker might say I tucked into a meal so quickly that I was done before a minute went by.

这就是唯一的区别。所以说英式英语的人可能会说我一分钟不到就把食物风卷残云般地吃完了。

Whereas an American would say I scarf the pizza down so quickly it was gone before I blinked. Sound good.

而美国人会说我一眨眼就把披萨狼吞虎咽地吃完了。听起来不错。

Cool. Next, have a sweet tooth.

很酷。接下来是喜欢吃甜食。

You can tell your examiner, I really have a sweet tooth. So I like to eat sweet food, food with a lot of sugar.

你可以告诉考官,我真的很爱吃甜食。所以我喜欢吃含糖量高的甜食。

Think of candy. If you really like to eat candy, you might have a sweet tooth.

想想糖果。如果你真的很喜欢吃糖果,你可能会爱吃甜食。

So you could say, well, I try to have a balanced diet, but I really have a sweet tooth. So I love to eat candy when I can.

所以你可以说,很好,我努力饮食均衡,但我真的很爱吃甜食。所以我有机会就吃糖。

Sound good. Next, we have fussy eater.

听起来不错。下面我们有挑食者。

You could tell your examiner I try not to be a fussy eater, but that's just who I am. You usually see fussy eaters in children, little kids.

你可以告诉考官,我尽量不挑食,但我就是这样。挑食者一般出现在孩子或儿童中。

Usually, sometimes adults are also fussy eaters. This means that you only like specific food.

通常有时候成年人也会挑食。这意味着你只喜欢特定的食物。

So maybe if you go to a restaurant, you'll look at the menu and say I won't eat this, I won't eat this, I won't eat this, I don't like it. You only like certain foods.

所以如果你去一家餐馆,你看菜单,说我不吃这个,我不吃这个,我不吃这个,我不喜欢它。你只喜欢某些食物。

So it can be very difficult to go out and eat if you are a very fussy eater. But again, this is usually seen in children.

如果你挑食,那么跟你出去吃饭会很难。但是这通常只出现在儿童中。

So perhaps you could say, I used to be a fussy eater when I was a little kid, but now I'll eat pretty much anything. Sound good.

所以也许你可以说,我小时候很挑食,但现在我几乎什么都吃。听起来不错。

Okay, next, let's talk about vegetarian. Vegetarian means that you don't eat meat.

好的,接下来我们来说说素食者。素食意味着你不吃肉。

No meat. You won't eat cow, or pig, or chicken, or fish, none of that.

不吃肉。你不吃牛,或猪,或鸡肉,或鱼,一点都不吃。

You can see here veggie looks like vegetables, because that's what you prefer to eat. There are a lot of reasons someone might be a vegetarian.

你可以看到这里的 veggie 看起来像蔬菜这个词,因为这就是你喜欢吃的。人们成为素食主义者的原因有很多。

And you could perhaps tell your examiner, I am a vegetarian, so I like to look for vegetarian restaurants and I don't like to be around people who eat meat, okay. Last on our list we have gluten-free.

你也许可以告诉你的考官,我是一个素食主义者,所以我喜欢寻找素食餐厅,而且我不喜欢周围有吃肉的人。我们清单上的最后一个词是无麸质饮食。

Gluten is a protein found in wheat and rye and other grains. So usually, if someone is gluten-free, they will look for specific types of bread, noodles, things like that to make sure they don't eat gluten, because it makes them sick.

无麸质是一种在小麦,黑麦和其他谷物中发现的蛋白质。因此通常来说,如果有人不吃含麸质的食物,那么他们会寻找特定种类的面包,面条,诸如此类的东西,以确保他们不吃麸质,因为这会让他们生病。

So gluten-free means no gluten. And those people need to look out for breads and other grain that might have gluten inside them.

无麸质意味着没有麸质。那些人需要注意面包和其它谷物中可能会有麸质。

Maybe you could tell your examiner, I'll eat anything but my girlfriend is gluten free. So we try to look for gluten free restaurants.

也许你可以告诉你的考官,我什么都吃,但我的女友不吃含麸质的食物。所以我们会尝试寻找替提供不含麸质食物的餐厅。

So we can both enjoy the meal together. Next, let's focus on some words you can use to talk about good taste.

这样我们就可以一起享用美食。接下来我们要专注于你可以用来谈论好的味道的单词。

Your examiner can ask you what kind of food do you like to eat. So let's talk about different ways to describe food.

考官可能会问你喜欢吃哪种食物。所以我们来谈谈描述食物的不同方式。

First, we have tasty. I think food is tasty.

首先我们有好吃的。我认为食物好吃。

This just means delicious, so good to eat. For example, you could tell your examiner, I really think cooked vegetables are tasty.

它的意思是美味的。例如,你可以告诉考官,我真的认为煮熟的蔬菜很好吃。

That just means you think they're delicious, pretty simple. The opposite of this is tasteless or bland.

这意味着你认为它们很美味,很简单。与此相反的是无味或寡淡的。

That means that it doesn't have a lot of flavor and you don't think it's very good. So here I will put flavor and cross it out.

这意味着它没有很多味道,你认为它不是很好。所以在这里我要写上味道这个词,然后把它划掉。

You could say, I usually think cooked vegetables are tasty, but at this one restaurant, I ordered cooked vegetables and they were so bland. They had no flavor at all.

你可以说,我通常认为煮熟的蔬菜很好吃,但是在这家餐厅我点了煮熟的蔬菜,他们太寡淡了。它们完全没有味道。

They were tasteless and that made me very sad. Some people don't like strong flavors.

它们是无味的,这让我非常难过。有些人不喜欢浓烈的味道。

So maybe they prefer their food to be a little bland, and that's okay too. Next, we have flavorful.

所以也许他们更喜欢食物寡淡一点,这也可以。接下来,我们有有滋味的。

This means you like to have a lot of flavor in your food. This usually is a good thing, but for some people, it is not.

这意味着你希望食物中有很多味道。这通常是一件好事,但对于某些人来说不是。

So here I will put lots of flavor. This means you prefer food that is very sweet, or very salty, or very spicy,

所以我在这里写很多味道。这意味着更喜欢很甜的,或很咸的,或很辣的食物。

For example, I like flavorful food, because I really really like my food to be very spicy. Okay, next we have divine.

例如,我喜欢有滋味的食物,因为我真的很喜欢吃辣。好的,接下来我们有神圣的。

Divine simply means God like. It is like a God.

神圣的就意味着像神一样。像神一样。

You could tell your examiner, I love to go home and eat my mom's cooking, because her cooking is divine. It is so good that it is God like.

你可以告诉考官,我喜欢回家吃我妈妈做的饭菜,因为她的厨艺精湛。厨艺太好了,就像神一样。

A God could eat this food. Sound good.

上帝都可以吃这种食物。听起来不错。

Next, we have here fit for a king, which is a lot like divine. This means that the food is so good.

接下来,我们这里有适合国王,这跟神圣的这个词很像。这意味着食物很好吃。

A king would eat it. So good that a king would eat it.

国王会吃。它太好吃了,国王都想吃。

You could tell your examiner, I really enjoy eating Indian cuisine, because I think Indian cuisine is fit for a king. It is so good that a king would eat it.

你可以告诉考官我真的很喜欢吃印度菜,因为我认为印度菜适合国王吃。它太好吃了,国王都会吃。

Okay, next we have rich in flavor. Rich in flavor is just like flavorful.

好的,接下来我们有味道丰富。味道丰富的就像有滋味的。

It has a lot of spice, or a lot of sugar, a lot of salt. So here I can also put flavorful.

它有很多香料,或很多糖,或很多盐。所以在这里我也可以写上有滋味的。

For example, perhaps you could say I really like Chinese food, because it is so rich in flavor. Rich means there's a lot of flavor in there.

举个例子,也许你可以说,我真的很喜欢中国菜,因为它味道是如此丰富。这里丰富的是指有很多味道。

Okay, and then last we have to my taste. This just means the way you prefer your food.

好的,最后我们有对我的胃口。这表示你更喜欢某种食物。

This is how you like your flavor to be in your food. For example, I get my Indian cuisine to my taste, very very spicy.

这指的是你希望食物有你喜欢的味道。例如,印度菜很对我的胃口,非常辣。

Not everyone likes very spicy food, but if you do, then it is to your taste, to my taste. You could also say, I like my coffee with one sugar and two creams, perfectly to my taste.

不是每个人都喜欢非常辛辣的食物,但如果你喜欢,那就是对你的胃口,对我的胃口。你也可以说,我很喜欢咖啡里加一份糖和两份奶油,很对我的胃口。

The way I prefer to take coffee. Last for today's lesson we're going to talk about different types of flavor and texture.

我喜欢的喝咖啡的方式。今天课程的最后我们要谈论不同类型的味道和质地。

So your examiner probably will ask you what food do you usually like to eat. Based on the foods you usually like to eat, you can use these words to talk about your diet.

所以考官可能会问你平时喜欢吃什么食物。基于你喜欢吃的食物,你可以用这些词来谈论你的饮食。

So let's dive right in with flavor. First on our flavor list, we have sweet.

那么我们开始讲味道吧。我们味道清单上的第一个是甜的。

Sweet food has a lot of sugar. So you can talk about I like to eat sweet food, because I have a sweet tooth.

甜食里含很多糖。所以你可以谈论我喜欢吃甜食,因为我喜欢吃甜食。

Some examples of sweeter foods are candy, as we said before, but also fruit, apples, bananas, any type of fruit has a lot of sugar. Therefore, it is very sweet.

一些甜食的例子有糖果,就像我们之前说的,还有水果,苹果,香蕉,任何有糖的水果。所以它非常甜。

Okay. Next we have salty.

好的。接下来我们有咸的。

Salty, as you can see, has a lot of salt. When you think of salty foods, it's probably best if you think of french fries, or you can also think of potato chips.

咸的,如你所见,有很多盐。当你想起咸的食物,你可能会想到薯条,或者也会想起薯片。

You could tell your examiner, I try not to eat it too much, but I really love salty food. I can't stop myself from eating French fries.

你可以告诉考官,我尽量不要吃太多,但我真的很喜欢咸的食物。我不能阻止自己吃炸薯条。

Okay, another type of flavor we have is savory. Savory goes hand and hand with flavorful.

好的,我们还有另一种味道,那就是鲜美的。鲜美的跟有滋味的是一起的。

It's usually very hearty. It fills you up when you eat it.

它通常是非常丰盛的。你吃的时候它让你很有满足感。

It is also usually cooked food. So when you think of eating a hot meal with lots of flavor in it, that leaves you feeling full and satisfied, you are talking about savory food.

通常也是煮熟的食物。因此当你想到吃一顿热饭,里面有很多味道,这让你很有满足感,你是在谈论鲜美的食品。

An example of savory food, hamburgers. Or you can also think of pizza.

鲜美的食物的例子是汉堡包。或者你也可能想到披萨。

Heavier foods that have so much flavor packed into them. So for example, you could say I like to eat savory food, because it is so satisfying when I'm all done eating.

口味较重的食物里面充满了味道。例如,你可以说我喜欢吃咸的食物,因为当我吃完之后会感到非常满足。

Okay, our next flavor on our list is sour. The best way to describe the sour is with your face like this.

好的,我们清单里的下一个是酸的。描述酸味的最好方法就是做这样的表情。

That's how you know a food is sour. The best example of sour food are lemons.

这就你就知道食物是酸的了。酸食物的最好例子是柠檬。

You could also think of vinegar. Vinegar is a very sour food.

你还可能想到醋。醋是一种非常酸的食物。

Well, here we go, vinegar, cool. So some people really don't like sour food, and other people do.

嗯,在这里,醋,很酷。所以有些人真的不喜欢酸味食物,而其他人却喜欢。

For example, you could say I never liked to eat sour food. So I never eat lemons, or grapefruit, or anything remotely sour.

例如,你可以说我从不喜欢吃酸的食物。所以我从不吃柠檬,或葡萄柚,或任何酸味的东西。

Or you could say, I really enjoy the sour taste, so sometimes I add some lemon juice to my water. Okay, last in our list of flavors we have spicy.

或者你可以说,我真的很喜欢酸味,所以有时我会往水里加一些柠檬汁。好的,我们清单里的最后一个是辣的。

Spicy goes hand-in-hand with hot. It makes your mouth feel hot when you eat spicy food.

辣与烫并存。当你吃辣的食物时,你的嘴巴会发烫。

Usually food is made spicy through peppers, jalapeno peppers, ghost peppers. There are so many different types of peppers you can use to make your food spicy.

通常辣的食物是由辣椒制成的,墨西哥辣椒,鬼胡椒。你可以用很多不同的辣椒来制作辣的食物。

Spicy, like sour, people usually really like or don't like at all. So you could tell your examiner, I hate spicy food, so I try to avoid cuisines that are known for being spicy.

辣,跟酸一样,人们要么很喜欢或不喜欢。所以你可以告诉考官,我讨厌辣的食物,所以我尽量避免以辣著称的菜肴。

Or you could say, I love spicy food so much that I like to cry when it is so spicy. Okay, now that we've covered our flavors, let's move on to food texture.

或者你可以说我非常喜欢辣的食物,以至于很辣的时候我会流眼泪。好的,现在我们已经讲解了口味,我们继续讲食物的质地。

First, on our texture list, we have creamy. When you think of creamy, think of food that is thick and soft.

我们的质地清单上第一个是奶油状的。奶油状的会让你联想到厚软的食物。

Thick and soft and smooth and let's fix thick up here here we go, cool. Thick and soft smooth food.

厚软光滑的食物,我们在这里写厚的,很好。厚软光滑的食物。

A lot like palak paneer from Indian cuisine or egg tarts. Or the best example I can think of is yogurt.

很像印度菜中的菠菜奶酪汤或蛋挞。或者我能想到的最好的例子是酸奶。

Yogurt is very thick. It's very smooth and it's soft.

酸奶很稠。它很光滑,很软。

You don't have to chew it when you eat. So you could tell your examiner, I really like to eat soup, especially if it is creamy, nice and thick.

你吃的时候不需要嚼。所以你可以告诉考官,我真的很喜欢喝汤,尤其是如果它是奶油状的,浓稠的。

Okay, next we have crumbly. Crumbly means it is falling apart.

好的,接下来我们有酥脆的。酥脆的表示它正在分裂。

So I will write down falling apart. If you bite into a cracker, sometimes the crumbles will fall down on to the four. . . floor.

所以我要写下分裂。如果你咬一口薄脆饼干,有时碎屑会掉到地上。

So you could say that crackers are crumbly. Another example of crumbly food is pie crust.

所以你可以说薄脆饼干很酥脆。酥脆食品的另一个例子是馅饼皮。

So if you're a big fan of pie, you could tell your examiner I love to eat pie and I especially love the crumbly pie crust. Sound good.

所以如果你是馅饼皮的忠实粉丝,那么你可以告诉考官,我爱吃馅饼,而且特别喜欢酥脆的馅饼皮。听起来不错。

Next on our texture list we have greasy. Greasy is talking about oil.

我们质地清单上的下一个是油腻的。油腻是指油。

Oil, the fat floating to the top of your food. You can see it.

油,漂浮在食物上面的脂肪。你会看到它。

If you put your napkin on greasy food and pick up your napkin, you will see the grease on the napkin. Usually you can get very greasy pizz.

如果你将餐巾纸放在油腻的食物上并拿起餐巾纸,你会看到看到餐巾纸上的油脂。通常你会吃到非常油腻的披萨。

If you have a piece of pizza, put your napkin down and lift it up, see the wet grease. That is oil, very greasy food.

如果你吃比萨,将纸巾放上去再拿起来,你会看到湿湿的油脂。那就是油,很油腻的食物。

You could tell your examiner, I try not to eat too much greasy food, because I know it's not good for me, even though I love it. Next on our texture list we have gooey.

你可以告诉考官我尽量不要吃太多油腻的食物,因为我知道它对我不利,尽管我很喜欢它。我们质地清单上的下一个是黏糊糊的。

Gooey is like creamy, but a little more solid. So I will write more solid than creamy.

黏糊糊的跟奶油状的很像,但是更硬一点的。所以我会写比奶油状的更硬。

But it's still important to know that it is also thick and soft. So I will also write thick and soft.

但是知道它又稠又软还是很重要的。所以我会写又稠又软。

When you eat it, it's not like soup where it's going to fall on the floor, but you can still pull it apart, a lot like cheese. So for my food example, I will write mozzarella sticks.

当你吃的时候,它不像汤会落在地板上,但你仍然可以把它分开,很像奶酪。所以我要举的食物的例子是马苏里拉奶酪棒。

They are a great example of gooey food. Mozzarella sticks, when you pull them apart, you can see the gooey cheese coming out.

它们是粘糊糊的食物的一个很好的例子。马苏里拉奶酪棒,当你把它们分开,你会看到粘糊糊的奶酪出来。

It's very thick and soft, but more solid than creamy. It's not going to fall on the floor, the way yogurt would.

它很厚,很柔软,但是比奶油更坚硬。它不会落在地板上,就像酸奶一样。

Okay, next on our texture list we have moist. Moist is talking about something that is a little wet.

好的,我们质地清单的下一个是潮湿的。潮湿的是在谈论有点湿的东西。

There's a little bit of water inside moist food. Some people really don't like this texture in food, so they try to avoid it.

有些人真的不喜欢潮湿的食物里面有水。有些人真的不喜欢这种食物质地,因此他们会努力避免这种食物。

A great example of moist food is tofu. People who aren't used to moist food tend not to like tofu.

潮湿食物的一个很好的例子是豆腐。不习惯潮湿食物的人往往不喜欢豆腐。

So you could say, I really don't like the moist texture in my food, so I never liked to eat tofu. Okay and then last on our list we have mushy.

所以你可以说,我真的不喜欢潮湿的食物,所以我从不喜欢吃豆腐。好的,我们清单的最后是糊状的。

Mushy is a lot like gooey and creamy. You can crush it in your hand.

糊状的很像黏糊糊的和奶油状的。你可以用手将其压碎。

It's not a hard food. It is also soft and pulpy.

它不是硬的食物。它也很软很湿滑。

You can feel the little bits of food inside. It isn't all liquid.

你会感到里面的食物微粒。它不完全是液体。

When you think of mushy food think like a banana. You couldn't just put a banana in your backpack and go throughout your day, because it will get crushed, right?

当你想糊状的食物可以想一下香蕉。你不能把香蕉放在背包里然后忙一整天,因为它会被压碎,对吗?

It is a very mushy food, soft and able to be crushed. Another great example of mushy food is mashed potatoes.

所以它是一种糊状的食物,很软并且能够压碎。糊状食物的另一个很好的例子是土豆泥。

You could tell your examiner, I love to eat mashed potatoes every Thanksgiving, because I love the mushy soft texture. Sound good.

你可以告诉考官,我喜欢在每个感恩节吃土豆泥,因为我喜欢它糊状的柔软质地。听起来不错。

Now you can take all of these words and phrases and practice for yourself at home. So you do great on the IELTS speaking section.

你可以在家里自己练习所有这些单词和短语。这样你就可以在雅思考试的口语部分中表现出色。
